Growing up around her family’s construction company, Allison has always been surrounded by development which inspired her to attend the University of Washington and earn a degree in Sustainable Urban Development. After graduating, she interned in the City of Tacoma City Manager’s Office as well as the Planning and Development Services department. As an intern in the long-range planning division of the Planning and Development Services department, Allison helped to research and draft new policies and provide updates to zoning code as part of the annual amendment process to the Master Plan and municipal code. When her internship came to an end in 2015, Allison started working for ZRG as a Zoning Analyst. Her experience working in long-range planning aids her ability to analyze complex zoning codes from jurisdictions across the country.

In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and two young kids. As a family, they enjoy camping together and DIY projects as they update their first home. Allison also loves to sew, cook and run; she aims to complete a marathon within the next year.
